    Although the LED display does not directly emit carbon dioxide, the high energy consumption required during production and use indirectly generates a huge amount of carbon dioxide. To solve the problem of carbon peak and carbon neutrality in the LED display industry, it is actually to solve the problem of high energy consumption.


    According to statistics, the world produces more than 3.5 million square meters of LED displays every year. Based on the power consumption of 500 watts per square meter, it consumes 1.75 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity each year, which is not even the amount of electricity consumed in the production process. Therefore, some people say that the LED display industry is a big power consumer, and it is not fake at all.


    In order to solve the problem of power consumption, Chinese LED display companies have been tirelessly exploring energy conservation. Because the common cathode LED display screen has a low temperature, it is also called a cold screen.


    From the cost point of view, the current common cathode LED energy-saving display screen will not increase too much than the conventional display screen, and it will save costs in the later use, so it will be the future development trend.


    At present, the common cathode technology products are still only a minority, because the supporting industrial chain is not yet mature, the overall volume is not large, and the common anode products still occupy 80% of the market.
