For the ambient light, some are direct sunlight outdoors, and some are strong light focused in front of the plasma screen. Liquid crystal can avoid this problem, because it belongs to a light-emitting screen and can be operated with a fluorescent back light source.

This is mainly due to the fact that the plasma does not require a back light source. In a plasma screen, each pixel is a light source, and self-luminous, so the color jumps. If the pixel is black, because there is no light, it is truly pure black. For liquid crystals, the back-up light source makes the film different colors, but to make it black, you can only fill the pixels so that light cannot pass through. Therefore, compared with plasma screens, the disadvantage of liquid crystals is that black is not true. The color is black, and the color is not very dynamic.

Therefore, for individuals, if it is applied to home theater , Plasma can be selected. In sports video, plasma has better quality in color and speed, and has good video quality.


   Regarding the use of plasma and liquid crystal technology, how to choose the correct screen for the digital signage system depends on the purpose of the system. According to the technical strengths and weaknesses of the two, they are applied to different digital signage fields. For example: What is your purpose for installing digital signage? how to use? Do you want the function of customer communication? Applied to education? Used in entertainment? How to divide the content of the system? Is it displaying static content or moving video? In addition, there is also the external environment of the display screen. Is it installed in a high-brightness environment (such as outdoor)? Is it installed in a dark corner of the room?


  Experts said that display technology is as important as content.
